This course will discuss areas of worker’s compensation that are unusual and that many people working in insurance will not have experienced or provided for their insureds.  As the world’s economy changes, many businesses will be exploring new ways of making sales and will unknowingly add risk exposures for their employees.  This course will discuss foreign worker’s compensation, extra-territorial provisions, effect of state compensation programs, monopolistic states, excess repatriation coverage, travel assistance, admitted versus non-admitted coverage for operations outside the US and Defense Base Act coverage.  This course is appropriate for agency principals, supervisors, sales and service staff.
